Why do regular check ups matter?
When it comes to your teeth, little issues can turn into much bigger (and more costly) problems if left unchecked and untreated. Visiting the dentist regularly ensures that any oral health issues are picked up and corrected as early as possible. To keep your teeth in top shape, you should have a dental check-up and clean every six months.
How long should I take off work for a check-up and clean appointment?
Your check-up and clean will take around 45 minutes — but if you’re a new patient, please allow up to an hour so we can get to know you and better tailor your dental care to your needs.
What health funds do you accept?
We accept all major health funds and have HICAPS so you can claim your rebate on the spot after your appointment. Just remember to bring your health fund card along with you.
How much does a dentist appointment cost?
At Green Door Dental, our New Patient check-up and cleans cost $325. Depending on your coverage, your health fund may cover some of your appointment fee.
We’re also happy to support the Child Dental Benefit Scheme for eligible families.

Do you offer payment plans or Afterpay?
Yes, our dental practice offers flexible payment plans and Afterpay so you can get the care your teeth need now and pay for your treatment in easy instalments. For more complex treatments, like dental implants and All-on-4, eligible patients may be able to access their Super to cover the costs — learn more about the early access of Super option here.
Need emergency dental Gregory Hills? Here’s what to do…
Give us a call on 02 4604 5505. We set aside time every day for dental emergencies so we will get you in as soon as possible. If you’re bleeding heavily or think you may have broken your jaw, please go directly to the emergency department. The closest hospitals to our dentist near Gregory Hills are Camden Hospital or Campbelltown Hospital.
I’m terrified of the dentist — can you help?
We certainly can. Thanks to our sedation options, there’s no need to suffer through anxiety-filled dental appointments again. We offer IV sedation (also known as sleep dentistry), as well as an oral medication sedative or inhaler sedation to help you feel comfortable, calm and free from fear during your visit. We’ll help you find the right sedation option to suit your needs.
