Am I a suitable candidate for All-on-4?
Most healthy people are good candidates for All-on-4. The treatment is suitable for people who have:
- Lost most or all of their teeth
- Have broken down, damaged or loose teeth
- Have gum disease
- Have jaw bone loss
- Are fed up with wearing dentures or want to avoid them
Even patients with diabetes or osteoporosis, who are ineligible for traditional placement of dental implants, can have All-on-4.
How much does All-on-4 cost?
The cost for our All-on-4 dental implant treatment starts from $25,000 per jaw for our Essential Care Package which includes a final tooth bridge made from acrylic over a titanium framework only and no temporary bridge (only suitable for some patients) or from $27,000 per jaw with a temporary bridge (some patients may need to wear a temporary resin tooth bridge during their 3 to 6 month healing period). Our Premium Care Package starts from $32,000 per jaw which includes both your temporary tooth bridge and final prosthesis made from long-lasting zirconia and titanium. Both prices also include the consultation and implant placement procedure. The only cost not included is the anaesthetist fees, but these are claimable on Medicare.
Worried about the cost of All-on-4? While some patients prefer to save up over time for their treatment, this isn’t the only way to pay. We also offer flexible payment plans with TLC, which may start from as little as $160 per week* for All-on-4 (T&Cs apply). Additionally, patients who are eligible for the ATO’s 'Compassionate Release of Superannuation Program’ may be able to apply for the early release of super to cover the costs of All-on-4 treatment.

How long does All-on-4 treatment take?
All-on-4 surgery can usually be done in a single day. Roughly, it takes 3-4 hours for the implants to be placed in your jaw. In as little as 3 days, you’ll return to the clinic to have your temporary tooth bridge inserted.
Is All-on-4 worth it?
There’s no ignoring the fact that All-on-4 is a costly treatment. But truthfully, it’s an investment in your happiness. What are All-on-4 implants?
The All-on-4 dental treatment replaces all missing teeth in either the upper or the lower jaw (or both). It comprises two parts. The first part is four implants that are carefully placed in your jawbone. Green Door Dental uses 3D x-rays to find the precise locations for the best result. The second part is a hand-crafted tooth bridge that looks exactly like natural teeth. The bridge is crafted by expert technicians who match the shape and shade of the replacement teeth to suit you perfectly.
All-on-4 works like natural teeth; it will never fall out, and you don’t need to remove it for cleaning. You can go back to brushing, speaking, and eating like you used to.
Are All-on-4 implants safe?
Like any surgical procedure, All on 4 can come with risks and potential problems. But when your treatment is planned and performed by a dentist who’s experienced in All-on-4, the success rate is typically very high at around 95-97% (learn more about the All-on-4 success rate here).
In all honesty, the risks with All on 4 are very low. Only around 5% of implants fail. And if this does occur, a new implant can typically be placed successfully after some healing time.The other risk to be aware of is infection. But again, the risk is low. Good at-home oral care, and a 6-monthly check up and clean can help reduce the chance of this too.
