Dr Smith graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1994, before joining the Royal Australian Air Force and serving for 11 years as a Dental Officer.
He completed a Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics with Distinction from Kings College London in 2008, attaining the highest mark awarded.
He has a regular theatre list at Southern Highlands Private Hospital, where he provides treatment under General Anaesthesia for children and adults, including all forms of restorative and surgical treatment, such as removal of wisdom teeth.
He has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry, full mouth makeovers, surgical treatment, and sleep apnoea and jaw pain. He maintains memberships in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry; the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry; the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health; and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
